Question about my keyboard freezing...

So it just happened today, I was gone for a very long time for half the day, and kept my MAC sleeping, and when I got home my MAC started to freeze but the mouse, pages and everything else worked except for typing. Right now I've been able to use it for a long time, but had to restart it four times before it lasted longer than 30 minutes. So if anyone could tell me what's going on...that'd be lovely.

It is a: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
