Q: Can't connect to iTunes with iPod... Why?

I'm trying to connect my iPod to iTunes, and it usually works. But recently it just says "cannot connect to iTunes store" every time I try to log in. So I'm not to sure what's wrong. I don't think it's the Internet, because I can log onto iTunes on the website. But not my iPod. So please, any advice?

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.4

Appears to be a server issue that Apple is currently working on to restore

iPad now updating apps. iPhone not updating just yet. Seems fix is progressing

Sign-out from Settings-> App Store.
Restart your device.
Sign-in back and try.
