Hi. I sync my ipad with my Notebook (windows OS) via cable. Now the contacts etc on info tab deactivate everytime I start the PC again.

I sync my ipad with my Notebook (windows OS) via cable. Recently when I do this all the sync tabs (contacts, calendar, notes etc) are deactivated in the info section. When I activate them again it asks me whether the info between Ipad & notebook should be merged or which one's info should be the main one. When I merge it starts to double up appointments. The next time I start the PC Itunes goes through the same procedure. Please advise what I need to do have a smooth sync everytime the way it should be. It's killing me & would really appreciate someone's help. Thanks.
