iPad/Apple TV connection problems with AT&T Uverse

I just switched to AT&T Uverse and ever since then my both my Apple TV and my IPad keep dropping my wifi. In the middle of streaming a show it will randomly start to buffer and the app stops working. I have not noticed any problems on my macbook or my iPhone. Occasionally i can fix the problem by unplugging the apple tv/router, but often even that does not work. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello jaitken3365

If you are experiencing a drop in connection with your iPad and your Apple TV, try out the troubleshooting articles below. Also make sure that the wireless router is set up properly and I have also provided an article for the recommended settings as well.
