XRaid will not recognize array - raid5

XRaid will not recognize array - raid5

I have an XRaid with a 7 volume raid 5 array. One disk failed leaving 6 of 7 disks good which should work. But, the XRaid will not recognize the array and make it available.

I'm running the 1.5.1 firmware.

I've tried switching the disks from the left side of the xraid to the right. Any ideas how to get this working? The events log has no info on why it won't recognize the array. Is there a more comprehensive log somewhere?

Have you installed a new drive back in to the RAID 5 to get it working normally again?

I did install a new spare disk. It still will not recognize the array. And since it will not recognize the array, it won't add that spare disk the the array and rebuild parity.

I'm pretty stumped. Any ideas are more than welcome.
