Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.

Jun 27, 2013 11:29 PM in response to BDAquaby sviezee,I got into a new admin account. Now I won't succeed in enabling the root user or find another way to restore the recycling bin from my main account (filevault protected).
Anyone?

Jun 28, 2013 12:41 AM in response to BDAquaby sviezee,I got to see the hidden files and with BatChmod I can get into my main account. But only to the library and a selected number of folders. No one with a .trash file.
I can find a file .Trashes but can not do anything with it. It is last changed yesterday when I deleted the sparsebundle.
I need to put the sparsebundle back in its original place. But don't know how.

Jun 28, 2013 1:32 AM in response to sviezeeby sviezee,I got into the .Trashes file and found the file anitavanveen.sparsebundle. anitavanveen is the main account with the problems (my girlfriend).
I copied this file to the root of the HD and pressed reboot. Now the macbook is already 15 minutes busy with starting up. I already shut down and started again with shift hold for safe mode.

Jun 28, 2013 9:28 AM in response to sviezeeby BDAqua,I don't actually know whee the anitavanveen.sparsebundle goes, but I suspect in the Users folder at root, or Users>HerShortName> folder.

Jul 3, 2013 12:30 AM in response to BDAquaby sviezee,I didn't succeed....
When I recovered the sparsebundle from the recycling bin it was only 200MB of the original 93GB. ALso a specialised HD Data Recovery company couldn't fix it. This because Mac OS automaticly fragmentates the hard disk and by this erases pakkages of the sparsebundle. In this case to much to fix anything....
