I cant open a song on garageband?

i was working on a song in gb and my computer dies. after connecting the charger and re-opening gb i cant even see the preview picture of my song(when you see the list of projects youve been working on). just this one all the others are fine. so i opened it and the white/blue bar has been revolving for 20 minutes now. i quit gb and tried it again and it didnt even spin, any help/ solutions??
