Keyboard problem

I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8 and my right shift key did not work. I took the keyboard in to the Apple Store and they just gave me a brand new one. I got home pluged it in and the shift key works, but the volume keys don't work now. They are F10 mute, F11 lower volume, and F12 raise volume. Help!!
