Unable to activate my developer's account

I recently purchased a iOS developer's program. Apple sent me the activation code and when i click on it, this comes up. All the payments have been made and i got to this page through apple's email they sent me. "We are unable to activate your Apple Developer Program membership.

We have received your purchase information and will email you shortly to verify additional details."
