Q: Becoming an iTunes U institution

Dear All

I completed the registration process to become an iTunes U content provider several weeks ago and haven't heard back from Apple yet. I emailed them again today to see what's going on and am waiting for a reply.

However, in the meantime, I am hoping someone may be able to answer my question. Is an iTunes U content provider the same as becoming an iTunes U institution? It's all a bit unclear to me at the moment. Basically, our teachers are using iTunes U but they are creating accounts of their own and this is restricting the number of students on each course to 50 which is a problem because most of our year groups have 125 students in.

We know that once we are an iTunes U institution, we will have unlimited students on a course but I don't know how to get that status.

Finally, will it be possible to transfer any courses that teachers have created on their own accounts to the iTunes U institution so that they don't have to be created from scratch but they can benefit from the unlimited number of students?

Many thanks

Daniel
