Just want to know what's up. My phone just directs me to the support page but nothing is jumping out at me to fix this problem. My ipad has no problem with either airport.

Have you got an AirPort Extreme with 802.11ac, that were launched two weeks ago? If so, open the App Store and update AirPort Utility to the most recent version
No, we have airports that are at least 5 years old.
Are you using the same AirPort Utility version in both iPad and iPhone?
