How do I get my Toast 11 videos to open in quick time?

I had Toast 10 and upgraded to Toast 11. I would drag a movie from Snap Z onto Toast 11 to make a video. Afterwards it doesn't open in Quick Time Player-version 10.2. What settings do I need to change in order to get that to happen? My operating system is a Mac 10.8.4.

Thanks for any help.

What does "to make a video" mean? What compression formats? What file container?

The basic answer is "any compression format and file container compatible with your operating system." Normally this could be anything from H.264/AAC in an MP4, M4V, or MOV file container to "muxed" MPEG-2/AC3 in an MPG, MPEG, or TS file container. Installation of non-native codec components will further expand the number of possible compression/file type combinations.
