Can anyone help, I have just bought a second hand iphone 4 but it looses the wifi signal if the phone is greater than 2metres from the wifi router. We have 2 other iphones in the family that work ok so its not the router that is at fault.
The iphone is on ios 6.1.3.
I had new covers fitted and at the same time the person installed a new wifi board but it did not improve the performance.

I have tried all these options.
The wifi works perfect when sitting close to the router but as soon as you walk away the wifi signal is lost.
Does this happen with any router or just yours? If the former then you might have the iPhone checked out. If the latter, then have both the phone and your router checked out.
