My Iphone 4 has recently started overheating and draining the battery at 20X speed than normal. I was on iOS6.1.1 and just updated to iOS6.1.3. I am still experiencing the same issue, my phone is out of apple 1 year warranty. I am not sure what to do at this point as it is difficult to make phone calls with a phone that literally burns your ear. Please provide a possible solution/suggestion ASAP. I am looking forward to hearing from Apple experts.

"Literally" burns your ear? You mean you have physical burns on your ear? I know mine does get quite warm when I have been talking for a while, but have never received a burn. But if it is truly causing burns on your ear, you need to get it to an Apple Store and have a Genius take a look and see what is going on and get it repaired.
