Contacts have been deleted by another user in my family

My daughter has spent a couple of hours deleting my contacts on her itouch. She has managed A-L. These have automatically disappeared from my phone. I have restored factory settings and then backed up from previous back up - but still no contacts. I have restored daughters itouch to factory settings and tried backing that up too - but again - contacts are stil not there. Can I get my contacts back again or not?
