Q: iCloud storage refund

How do I get a refund ? My device said I ran out of storage so I upgraded to 10GB. Then it said I still had no storage so upgraded to 20GB. I've been charged for both purchases.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.4

A:

You won't lose any photos on your phone. The only photos in your iCloud account are camera roll photo contained in your backup. Photo stream photos are also in your icloud account, but do not use your iCloud storage so reducing it won't matter.

That's the online store number in the U.S. I'm not sure if the online store handles storage refunds in Australia or not, but the corresponding number listed for Australia as shown below:

Thank you I will try. However, do you know if I didn't upgrade storage would I loose my photos? I had 17GB on my phone. It was never an issue until I decided to upgrade. I turned off photo stream to save storage but that did nothing.

Ok. I thought the photo stream was using up storage. Do you know if its possible to set up a privacy photo folder. On the old system with the me.com photo APP you could do that.

I'm not familiar with a "privacy photo folder" option in MobilMe, but there is nothing like that in iCloud.
