how do i get my photos from my old phone over to the new phone?
I backed up on icloud before changing phones. It won't let me do an automatic backup on the new phone. I want to get my messages and photos back on the new phone.
iPhone 4
For photos. On the new iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Photo Stream on.
iCloud does back up messages > iCloud. Your content. On all your devices.
But may only be available from a backup.
Make sure you are using the correct Apple ID.
