iBook syncing

I'm having trouble syncing all of the iBooks I've purchased on my phone into my iTunes/iCloud. It is only syncing five or six of them, when I have many more on my shelf on my iPhone. How can I ensure everything on my bookshelf can be synced onto my iTunes/iCloud?
