Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility
a) verify the disk
b) repair your permissions.
2) Try a safe boot.
Shutdown your machine. Hold down the shift key. Poweron. Wait awhile Wait awhile while you harddrive
is being checked.
