Change print preferences; how to get Print Preview?

I use Epson Workforce 520 and was having hard time figuring out how to change options/preferences on printing a document. Mainly I wanted to print drafts or black and white only. I have not figured out everything, but for other surface users like myself, here is what to do for my issues:

Go to File in menu, then select Print; at bottom choose Print Using System Dialog; select Layout which gives a list of options; print settings, print quality will be obvious.

I still don't know how to do Print Preview.

I went through the microsoft convertee phase you're describing several years ago.

This is not a good solution for everyone, but it helped me:

There are a series of "Missing Manual" books by David Pogue (N.Y. Times tech writer) that are well written and complete and accurate. This one might appeal to you:

Switching to the Mac: The Missing Manual, Mountain Lion Edition (Missing Manuals)

By the way, I have no financial interest in either Amazon (source of the link), the author, or the publisher. I simply found the predecessor book useful when I made the switch.
