apple tv turned on was in step 1 of 2 update and has not moved for 3 hours is there away to restart the update
Apple tv stuck in update mode 3 hours what do I do
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Whilst it's Apple's advice not to unplug the unit while the update is in progress, it is fairly clear after three hours that you have a problem.
- Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
- Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
- Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
- Open iTunes.
- Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
