Q: My iPhone 5 just got stolen.

My iPhone 5 just got stolen.I've downloaded anad enabled the Find My iPhone applicaion on my iPhone but when i tracked using the iCloud, my phone appears offline. The question is,what if the thief changed the sim card before it swicthes on and change my apple id as soon as the phone switches on? can i still track my phone? The other question is, how can i track my lost iPhone using my IMEI number? Thank you.

What else can i do to find or track my stolen iphone? I've tried so many ways. With this level of security from Apple, its not worth it to buy "The most advanced phone in the world" product by apple. I am so dissappointed with Apple.

It's not Apples fault your Phone was stolen.  Pinning this on Apple seems a little redundent now doesn't it.  Or do you need someone to hold your hand wherever you go?

Find My iPhone has to have certain characteristics on the phone in play for this to work.

IE the device needs to be turned on and have some sort of connection + Location services needs to be on as well(GPS).  Sorry your phone was lost, but it was your fault.

You might want to consider starting a new discussion. Since this one is a couple of years old, less people are likely to look at it. A new post would be much more visible. You can link to this one.
