Password input text box loses fucus after wrong password input

Sometimes I mistype my password on login screen, the cursor focus will then be moved to another button. I have to use the touchpad to move my cursor back to the password input text box to enter again. This is very inefficient. The default behavior should be having the input password box focused and old password all selected, so that I could type the password again and press Enter. If there is security concern, I think there should be at lease 5 times focusing on the password box before moving out to elsewhere.
