How to ID LAN IP addresses?

I had an interesting "network message" saying basically "a device connecting to my LAN was using the same IP address as something else. I vaguely remember seeing where I could see the number of devices on the LAN but what about their associated IP? I'm sure there is a terminal command but is there an OSX feature that makes it easier too access? Or a recommended third party app?
