Moving background in Keynote.

Hi All

I have been asked to put together some presentations which will need a animating background which I will be creating in Motion.

Is it possible for the presentation to run over the top of a animating, looping backgound (Quicktime) movie?

I have been looking at Watchout and Arkaos which do have this capability, but would like to keep it in the family.

Thanks

D

A slide can have an animated looping background, and that background can be on multiple slides, but it won't loop across slides (that is, the animation will re-start its loop as you go to each new slide).

Note that, in my experience, if a presentation has animation it is really helpful to run through it once immediately prior to showing it publicly -- it seems as if Keynote caches the movies, and that the second run through is usually much smoother than the first. Also, obviously, smaller movie files are better in terms of performance.

I just started using Keynote. I have added vids as backgrounds and they look great. (Got them from Digital Juice)I have text and graphics on top of them with the vids opaqued (sp?). My only problem with doing that is if you place your mouse over the slide, the scubber bar for the vid appears at the bottom of the slide. If you find out how to delete the scrubber please let me know jim@beerboozebooks.com
