I have used migration assistant to transfer my laptop contents and accounts to my new iMac. I can open my msn mail inbox and sent box on the iMac, but can't see any of my other mail folders. I can see them on the iPad, but how do I open them on the iMac? I'm very new to Apple and would appreciate any help available.

On a Mac Hotmail only supports POP access, and POP will not sync folders.
Oh thanks. Is there any way of converting to an Apple mail system and transferring the mail folders from Outlook/Hotmail?
Activate your iCloud email address, then copy the folders and content from the Hotmail account to the iCloud account, do them one at a time and ensure that each one is completely copied before starting the next. This will take time as you are moving the mail across the internet.
