I am having problems connecting my new Bluetooth speaker with my iPad. My iPhone connected straight away, so not sure what the issue is? Please help!

I have just bought a wireless UE speaker, and I can't get it to connect with my iPad thru Bluetooth. I had no problems connecting my iPhone, so not sure what the issue is. Thx
