Purchased it on my Mac.
It shows up on my IPad (and my Mac) as a purchased App.
There is a Yoga Journal Icon in my Newstand.
When I open it, it takes me to a subscription page as if I had never purchased it.
(I assume I should find it in my newstand rather then an icon on my IPad desktop, right?)

No, I still can't open digital subscription. It's in my newsstand but when I open it gives me subscription options.
RESOLVED!
Not sure what went wrong but I followed the steps from Apple Trouble-Shooting.
Deleted the App, then purchased again.
I'm almost sure I wasn't billed twice but need to double-check.
