Q: My trackpad takes forever to connect

Hello,

Up until just a few weeks ago, my trackpad worked great.   Now when I get my iMac out of sleep mode, my trackpad wont work.  I can see it trying to connect, and the bluetooth icon in OSX shows that it is connecting, then disconnecting.   It does this repeatedly!  It takes around 5-10 min before it finally connects and works.   Batteries are charged and at full stranegth so I know its not that.   Even if I wake my computer up with the trackpad (which it will do) it still takes forever to connect.   What is going on here??  does anyone know a fix?
