Printer problems

Hi,

I have an iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 running OS X 10.7.5 and I am having serious issues intalling printers. I've just moved home, prior to moving the computer was connected to my Epson Stylus DX6050 via USB and worked well. After moving at first it would not even detect it to add it to the printer list. After persisting and downloading the latest drivers I somehow got it to see it, but it now keeps reporting that it is not connected. The printer works fine when I connect it to other computers. I have similar issues when trying to add other priters to the iMac including a Canon MG 5150.
