I can't install Itunes 11.0.4. please help!

The automatic updater threw an error when I tried to update iTunes and Quick Time today.

It said: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." about both a "iTunes 64.msi" file and a "Quick Time.msi" file.

Solutions to this problem after google searching were to completely uninstall and reinstall iTunes and Quick Time using Microsoft Fix-it (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3704). I tried this and Microsoft Fix-it just loaded forever and wouldn't stop so I tried using Windows Installer Cleanup which was mentioned in a discussion (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4753469?start=0&tstart=0). I was able to uninstall iTunes with this program but Quick Time didn't show up.

Now after trying to reinstall iTunes from the apple website it says "Could not open key: UNKNOWN/Components/[string of letters&numbers]/[string of letters&numbers] Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."

What is this and how do I fix it?

I just want to get iTunes and Quick Time back to normal...

I just wanted to update them like usual.....

Hi,

My system has updated to iTunes 11.0.4 and the newest version of Quicktime. Here the outcomes:

1-I have no sound. not even with my headphones,external speakers or even visitng Youtube, I hear no sound.

2- iTunes does not open. When trying to open it, it just blink it the Dock and closed.

3-My other players do not have sound too.

Please help me what should I do?

I have Lion in MacBook Pro
