Caller ID not showing in Iphone 4S V6.1.3

I have an iphone 4s and when somebody calls my iphone shows me only the number of the caller not its nam

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

Why do you think it should show you a name? Most cellular caller ID systems don't. If you have a contact in your phone already and the phone number exactly matches what's being sent by the caller ID system, then it will display the name from your contacts. If you do not, then all you get is the number. That's the way it works.

That didnt solve my answer i did that by mistake

Sir i think that it should show me the name of caller because i have 800 contacts how can i memorize all those numbers

Well, it can't show you the name of the caller if you don't have the caller in your contacts. It can't show you the name of the caller if the phone number you have for the caller in your contacts does not match what your cellular carrier is sending over the caller ID system.

Make sure the phone numbers you have for your contacts MATCH what you are getting from caller ID.
