How do I replace item artwork?

I can't figure out how to change the artwork for each item within a collection. Anyone out there who can help?

Are you uploading to Apple or do you use RSS?

In the latter case, use an <itunes:image href="[path to your artwork as jpg]" on an <item>-level.

We use RSS and I am also having trouble with images in iTunes U. This is a recent problem, I only noticed it today.

1. When we add a new collection the image for the collection doesn't show in iTunes, even though the feed validates and the image URL used in the feed resolves ok, e.g. -

2. When we change the image for a collection (in the RSS feed) and refresh the collection in Public Site Manager the new image doesn't show in iTunes, it still shows the old image.

Tom, this issue is two-fold:

Icon not showing up in new feed might be fixed by using 1400x1400 RGB JPEG (current required format). If not, then you should file a bug report.

When changing icons, make sure you use a different name for the file (add a timestamp or whatever works for you). PSM does not check for changes if the filename did not change.

OTOH: I have a collection too which stubornly refuses to change the icon, maybe there is something completely different going on? We have to wait and see, I guess.

Thanks for the suggestion. I always change the filename when updating icons so that can't be the problem in this case. I have now changed the image size to 1400x1400 px to see if that make any difference. No change so far but it might take a while before the change appears in iTunes.

Do you happen know where I would file bug report - is there a web page?

The missing image has now appeared, so it looks like images now need to be 1400x1400, which has been the reccomended size for some time, but it looks like Apple are now enforcing it as a rule.
