My airport express quit working. How can I correct this problem? My computer states, "This version of AirPort Utility doesn’t support this base station." How can I correct this problem? I have an airport extreme Nbase station N.

There are three Airport resets, soft, hard and factory default. It would probably be beneficial if you tried each one in sequence. Actually, you could jump to the factory default reset if you don't mind reconfiguring from scratch.
Resetting your AirPort Express will be of little value if the version of AirPort Utility that you have does not support the product.
Please check the Model No on the side of the AirPort Express and post back with the Model No that you see there. It will be in the form of Axxxx.
We also need to know which version of AirPort Utility you are using. If you are not sure, click the AirPort Utility menu in the upper left corner of the screen and then click About AirPort Utility. Post back with the version number that you see there.

I should add that I installed a new Airport Extreme N as my router for my wireless network three weeks ago. Both devices worked fine for three weeks until the airport express stopped working. It is no longer identifiable.
You have an older version of the AirPort Express that is no longer supported by AirPort Utility 6.x versions.
You need to use another Mac or PC that is using AirPort Utility 5.x to be able to configure the AirPort Express.

My macbook pro says there is a newer version but when I try to download the message says there are no updates. I can identify the airport express now but it identifies itself by it old name and not the new network I set up three weeks ago with the new airport extreme.
When I plugged the airport express into my airport extreme the light turned steady green but I still can't identify it.
