I have iPhone and had MacBook.

I imported photos from iPhone (Camera Roll) to Mac (iPhoto), sorted it by events and albums and synced back to iPhone.

Now my Macbook SSD dead. I could not restore photos from Macbook.

How can I transfer photos/events/albums and other data from iPhone to new Macbook? Image Capture can only import photos from Camera Roll. But my photos not in Camera Roll and this type of import can't import events.

Are these in your iPhoto library on your iPhone?

Yes. I have iPhoto App on iPhone and photos are in this app too.

Can help you there.  I'll ask to have this topic moved to the iPhoto for iOS community where users there will be more familar with moving photos around.

Hi. I found solution last week.

I bought iExplorer ($50 or so).

Connect iPhone to PC (or Mac). Launch iExplorer.

Find Photo Library on my phone and click "Export Entire Library".

Each event/album/face/tag creates separate folder with photos. So I manually import photos to my Mac iPhoto (by the way, when you drag and drop folder to iPhoto it creates separate event with folder name).

Not best solution but it saves my photos.

Actually it's almost the same with another software like that named iPhoneExplorer.

The problem is that I can see the Photostream pictures, the camera roll pictures but NOT the "Events" album from My Mac...

    Any idea?

Maybe there are differences between programs, because I tried to use different types of same programs and iExplorer found events. Other programs only saw directory with unsorted photos, or other types of structures.

    My "pre conditions" was:

    - iPhone 4S

    - iOS7

    - Photo Stream not enabled

    - iPhoto for iOS7 installed
