How to import photos/events/albums/faces from iPhone to Mac

I have iPhone and had MacBook.

I imported photos from iPhone (Camera Roll) to Mac (iPhoto), sorted it by events and albums and synced back to iPhone.

Now my Macbook SSD dead. I could not restore photos from Macbook.

How can I transfer photos/events/albums and other data from iPhone to new Macbook? Image Capture can only import photos from Camera Roll. But my photos not in Camera Roll and this type of import can't import events.

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Hi. I found solution last week.

I bought iExplorer ($50 or so).

Connect iPhone to PC (or Mac). Launch iExplorer.

Find Photo Library on my phone and click "Export Entire Library".

Each event/album/face/tag creates separate folder with photos. So I manually import photos to my Mac iPhoto (by the way, when you drag and drop folder to iPhoto it creates separate event with folder name).

Not best solution but it saves my photos.
