Ipad 4 will not synch

I won an Ipad for Christmas from Hennessee Cognac. Yeah! I dont know what I did without one. It has a profile set up as an inhouse profile for Hennessee verified account. In settings > General> Itunes Wi-Fi Synch is says it is looking for a file called content1 and synch will resume when this file becomes available. I have made a folder called content1 in my Itunes music library on my laptop but synch will not occur. My objective is to transfer music from my laptop to my ipad 4 but am having problems doing this and I think it is due to this profile.

Can I delete the Hennessee profile without major changes to my ipad?

Thank you

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3

That "file" that it is looking for should be a computer or a computer name. When I look in my settings for WiFi syncing it says that "Sync will resume when XXxxxxx"s MacBook Pro is available" The XXxxxx being the name of my computer.

The only way that I know to rid the iPad of that setting - and what they should have done before they presented you with the iPad - was to erase the device and start all over again. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings.

That will totally erase everything on the iPad and it will force you to start over again. You can download most of your paid content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID and as long as the content is still available. You cannot restore from a backup or you will just restore this troublesome setting again.
