When a keynote presentation is createdon the ipad, why does the theme (cerulean) not transfer with it when moved/synced on a mac with Keynote, or better yet, why dont the ipad themes exist on the mac?

Keynote for Mac and Keynote for iOS are very different applications each running on different operating systems, there are many incompatibilities between them.

I understand functional differencers, but it seems they should at least have matching themes. I also understand that the mac version will have more options in terms of things like themes. But it seem that the mac version should have the 9 or so themes that the ipad version sports.

What us users would like Keynote to do and what its current functions are will always be two different things, we have to learn to work with what Apple gives us.
