issues with managing storage and downloading
ive increased my storage. movies still wont download from apple tv

Movies aren't stored on your Apple TV. If you want to download movies to your iPod, you'll have to download them from your purchased list, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519. Note: not all movies can be redownloaded from the iTunes store; it depends on whether or not the studio allows it.
