Printer driver missing, cannot print on Fuji printer

Dear all,

I want to use my macbook air (OSX 10.8.4) to print document using an ApeosPort-IV C5580 printer that is shared using LAN cable. However I got a problem to install the driver.

I went to system preference, print and scan, add a new printer, go to "IP" tab, enter the correct IP address and then my macbook air automatically detected the printer. When I click add, the system report "Can't install the software for the Fuji xerox xxxxx because it is not currently available from the software update server.

I decided to go to the Fuji website and download the software manually from this link (http://www.fujixerox.co.jp/download/apeosport/download/4_c5570series/prt_macx105 e/), install the dmg file and finish everything. However, my macbook air still cannot recognize the printer, and I still cannot use the printer.

Any advice on this? Did I miss something? I am relatively new Mac user (previously from PC), and I never get this problem before.

Regards,

bomzq
