reset docks
Hi guys do anybody know how to reset all docks back to factory settings,where do u start from..... any advice ,im on mountain lion...thanks

AFAIK, there isn't any way to reset the Dock to factory settings unless you reformat the drive and start over.
If you want to remove icons from the Dock just click and hold thei then click Options > Remove from Dock
On the menu bar on, select Go, then press the option key, a new option will appear, named Library. click library then look for the Preferences folder. click it then look for the "/com.apple.dock.plist" drag it to the desktop, then restart your macbook pro. it's back to the original dock setting. just move the .plist on the desktop to the trash
thanks dennis i hav successfully put all docks back to original place ,what happen if i deleted dock plist that in trash after restart ,still retain original dock plish in perference folder...cheers
