my iphone 5 overheated and wont turn back on

my phone battery seemed to drain within 1 hour of a full charge. It wont restore with a hard reboot. The apple logo just flashes on and off every 4 seconds. Ive tried to restore through itunes but it gave a 2001 error and said that my phone could not be restored.

Can anyone help?
