Can't connect to CDDB server in itunes on OS 10.8

Both my macbook and imac ruun latest version of itunes, but I can't get track names etc on latest OS (10.08.04) on imac although old laptop running OS10.6 still connects. Any clues on how to resolve this ?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
