Q: Hello...My I phone touch screen just started acting up. The "slide to unlock" feature doesnt respond, and i tried to" power off" to restart, and it doesnt recognize pressure from my finger either..any suggestions?

Have you dropped it in any water? you might have to do a hard reset by holding down the power and home buttons simultaneously. Make sure you have a back up on iTunes first and do a restore after its in recovery mode.See if that helps

Try putting it into Recovery Mode.

This helped me when my iPod was like yours.

First thing to try is a reset of your device. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the buttons and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
