Q: there is insufficient space

I have rented an HD film but it won't start downloading as it says that there is insufficient space on my iPad, I have deleted as much as I can but it still won't download, is there a way to change to the SD format so that it will download?

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3

goto expresslane.apple.com and chat with advisor and see if they can change the purchase type to SD.
