I am trying to edit out the middle portion of a music track. How do you do that. It seems that the clip trimmer will only allow me to edit the beginning or end of the track. Please help as soon as possible.

iMovie '11, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Select the music track. Set playhead where you want to cut. Command-shift-S.
