who supports discussions.apple.com username

anyone know who supports the discussions.apple.com username database? a user called in to say that he can sign successfully to discussions.apple.com and appleid.apple.com, but at discussions.apple.com it is prompting for a username to continue. he already has a user name..... but just to get passed this screen he will try to input a new one or use a suggestion, then WHAMMO - you cannot create a username because one is already assocaited with this email address. No Kidding 😝... So it is as if the discussions.apple.com is on a loop of sorts for my user. I would love to know who supports this site for future reference in case I ever get another call like this one.. ...
