iMovie 11 (Mountain Lion) Picture in Picture

Hey everyone, Xtrendence here and I have a question about iMovie.

Is it possible to put 2 pictures in 1 frame?

Thanks in advance

two girls = easy, two guns = impossible 😁

no, iM11 doesn't allow more than one inserted pic-in-pic

options:

• consider content of two pics in one ....

• create Project with one pip, export, re-import, add pip#2

• use professional tools, FCPX (it has a free, 30d trial …) Motion, QuicktimePro

• in case, tht pips are NOT video, but stills, 'compose' the two shots as one pic and insert that:

you see: two guns in one pic (with transparency, saved as png) and then PiPeffect
