Hi irishfish51,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.

Uninstalling iTunes won't delete your music and movies. The article suggests backing up your library, though:

While it is highly unlikely that you will lose any contents of your iTunes Library when following these steps, it is always a good idea to ensure that your iTunes library is backed up. If you're unsure how to backup, see iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive.

After reinstalling iTunes, you may also want to re-create your iTunes library by following the steps in this article:

iTunes: How to re-create your iTunes library and playlists

Ive tried to uninstall iTunes and it won't let me, I keep getting this message:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Clilck ok to try again, or enter a alternate path to the folder containing the installation package "itunes.msi" in box below.

I tried to find that folder but could not so I went to the link you sent me and deleted everything it would let, me that being quick time, and the other 4. But it wouldn't let me uninstall the itunes.

Now when I got to delete it or try to access itunes it says: The configuration data for this product is corrupt please contact support personal.

I have no support personal here but myself.

I can't even access my libary to back up my songs or movie.

I'm using windows XP if that helps.

Please help

Thanks

Dave
