iphone 4s won't sync to pc outlook

Ever since I added an iPad mini to the mix, I have not been able to sync calendar changes made on my PC to my iPhone 4S (they are not showing up on the iPad either). When I hook these devices up to the PC, they appear to be syncing but the new information is not transferred.
