Need Help Deleting Phantom GarageBand File

Hi. I recently made a new project in GarageBand, however, when I created it it was automatically saved onto my Desktop for some reason, AND it created a phantom file with it. I deleted the orignal project, however, my computer isn't letting me delete the phantom file or do ANYTHING with it. I can't change it's name, I can't do "Get Info" on it, and I can't send it to ANY folders. I even tried deleting it with Terminal, and it's STILL there! Does anybody know how to get rid of it? I use a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.7.5.
